Eight members of Congress invited to briefing on alleged Russian bounties, White House says

U.S. Press secretary Kayleigh McEnany said during a briefing on Monday that the White House has invited eight members of Congress for a briefing on intelligence reports that Russia offered bounties to Taliban militants to kill U.S.

soldiers. She stated that Chief of Staff Mark Meadows said he would be briefing eight members “from the committees of jurisdiction” and there was a bipartisan invitation extended.
