A six-month-old 'miracle baby' born with a heart condition has beaten coronavirus. Medics were moved to tears as they clapped for little Erin Bates, from Bury, as she was wheeled through the corridor having spent two weeks in an isolation unit.
The tot was rushed to Alder Hey Children's Hospital in Liverpool after testing positive for COVID-19 on Friday, April 10. Heartbreaking pictures shared by her family showed her hooked up to an oxygen machine surrounded by wires, tubes and equipment.
But on Friday (April 24) staff at the hospital shared an emotional video of her being taken out of isolation, the Liverpool Echo reports.
