The Football Association are committed to finishing this season's FA Cup should the Premier League successfully resume. FA's chief executive Mark Bullingham has supposedly told FA Council members at a meeting on Thursday that he intends to finishing the competition alongside league action.
Prior to the coronavirus pandemic suspending the season the FA Cup had reached the quarter-final stage. Bullingham hopes the four last eight clashes will be played on a home-and-away basis provided the Government and emergency services give their approval for the season to resume in that manner.
The two semi-finals and the final will then be played at Wembley behind closed doors, reports the Daily Mail. Leicester drew Chelsea, Manchester City visit
