The family of a 'brilliant' mum found dead in Levenshulme have paid tribute to her after a man was detained under the Mental Health Act.
The body of Hyacinth Morris was found by emergency crews at an address on Westminster Street on Thursday, May 7. Police were initially called to 'reports of concern for welfare' at 8:30pm, but when they arrived at the scene they found the body of the 67-year-old.
A 40-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder. He has since been detained under the Mental Health Act. Paying tribute to Hyacinth, her family said: “Hyacinth, you were a great daughter to your father. "A beautiful sister, a wonderful sister in law, aunty, great aunty and a dear cousin to all. “You were loved dearly by all and touched our
