Wales. Pictures taken at the construction site at in the iconic Rhigos mountain range in the Cynon Valley already show the foundations for the attraction being built.The new site is based at the former Tower Colliery mine - Glofa’r Tŵr - which was the oldest continuously working deep coal mine in the UK until it closed in 2008.Progress is now being made at the site, which is due to welcome its first visitors in Spring 2021.Construction has been delayed due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.The plans for the latest Zip World adventure park are set to include a 4-person zip line which will see riders soaring over a stunning location, ending at the Tower Colliery.
