Karnataka is among the 10 states in the country that is contributing over 80% of India’s total Covid-19 cases At least five districts in Karnataka, including Bengaluru, will be termed as ‘red zones’ that house a large number of covid-19 positive cases and has a higher number of people in home quarantine, according to the state medical education minister. “If a cluster has more number of positive covid people, that will be a red zone," K.Sudhakar, medical education minister said on Wednesday.
The colour coding comes amid a spike in positive cases in Bengaluru and the rest of the state, taking the total to 105 that includes eight people, who have completely recovered and three people who have died.
