BENGALURU: The Karnataka government is considering continuing the 21-day lockdown in hotspots or areas that have higher number of covid-19 positive cases. "We need to see for another few days before taking a final call," PTI reported on Tuesday, quoting K.
Sudhakar, the state's medical education minister. The B.S. Yediyurappa-led Karnataka government is yet to decide on how it will lift the 21-day nationwide lockdown announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The lockdown is scheduled to end on 14 April but the threat of the spread of the novel coronavirus still looms large over the country and the state.
