Former Liverpool manager Gerard Houllier thinks the decision to end the French top-flight season early is part of a plot against Lyon that will be "covered up" by the French state.
Last month Ligue 1 became the most high-profile of the European football leagues to decide to curtail their campaign early in the face of the ongoing coronavirus crisis.
The top-flight leagues in England, Italy and Spain remain determined to keep playing, and Germany's Bundesliga will become the first major league to resume this weekend.
But Ligue 1 was curtailed in April, with Paris Saint-Germain declared as champions and the standings after all but two teams had played 28 rounds of matches used to determine European places.
