Dimitar Berbatov believes Liverpool are worthy winners of this season's Premier League title and thinks it would be "unfair" if they are denied it as debate continues over how the campaign should be concluded.

The Reds were an astonishing 25 points clear at the top of the table when football was suspended due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, and they were closing in on their first top flight title in 30 years.

At the moment it is not clear how the current season will finish, however, with some believing it should become null and void, which would see Liverpool cruelly miss out on what would be a much-deserved first place finish.
