I wanted to choose a photograph of the two of us because it’s so lovely that everybody still feels so warm to us as a TV couple, as it were.

I presented The Big Breakfast 27 years ago – and that’s a long old time. I’m slightly overwhelmed that people still hold us in their hearts, really.

Chris and I adored each other, and we still do. It’s as lovely today as it was then. We have tremendous love and respect for each other.
