A woman woke up to find her beloved boyfriend dead beside her - just days before Christmas. Adam McGreevy, who was just 30 years old, had been experiencing heart palpitations before he tragically died of a prescriptions drugs overdose.

A coroner's inquiry in Greater Manchester, heard there was no evidence the "hard-working" joiner found dead in bed by his partner had any intention to take his own life.

On Monday, an inquest into his death heard he had taken a combination of medications after suffering months of pain.
