The grieving parent of a mum-of-three who has died of cervical cancer at the age of just 26 is urging other young women to have smear tests.
Jess Jackson, described as a "beautiful lady" and a "massive character", lost her two-year battle with the disease on June 12 leaving behind her three young children Max, seven; Leo, six; and Jenson, three.
Her heartbroken mother Lynda Gilling has made an emotional appeal to other young women to make sure they attend their cervical screening appointments.
Lynda said: "My daughter knew what she wanted in life. "She loved doing things with her three children outdoors, like taking them to the park.
