The Special Oireachtas Committee on Covid-19 will meet tomorrow to examine the State's response to the spike in cases of the virus.
Members of the committee will hear from the Minister for Health Stephen Donnelly, the Acting Chief Medical Officer Dr Ronan Glynn, HSE Chief Executive Paul Reid and Chair of the NPHET's Irish Epidemiological Modelling Advisory Group, Professor Philip Nolan.
The Committee will hold three sessions throughout the day on issues including testing and tracing, the ongoing lockdown in Co Kildare and the medical and scientific basis for it.
Members of the committee say they are eager to hear from Minister Donnelly about the Government's strategy in dealing with Covid-19 in the months to come.
