A 'healthy' 18-year-old girl who suffered a 'thunderclap headache' after receiving her first dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine died just days later, an inquest has heard.
Kasey Turner was rushed to Barnsley Hospital's intensive care unit with an acute onset headache last February, according to the Mirror.
She passed away just four days later, with the teen believed to be one of the youngest people to die as a result of coronavirus jab side effects.
Due to her role as a student paramedic at Teesside University, Kasey was given the vaccine before the rest of her age group, Sheffield Coroners' Court was told.
