JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Jaguars never got the first-round draft pick they wanted for pass rusher Yannick Ngakoue. But coach Doug Marrone says the team “feels good with the compensation” they received in return for a guy with 37 1/2 sacks and 14 forced fumbles in four seasons.Jacksonville dealt Ngakoue to Minnesota on Sunday in exchange for a second-round draft pick in 2021 and a conditional fifth-rounder in 2022. 2020 VMAs confirms it: The red carpet is dead amid COVID-19
2020 VMAS offered a canned red carpet — interviews were mostly taped, resulting in staid photos of the stars on-screen. There was no real showcase of what MTV’s Video Music Awards are known for: The most irreverent, ridiculous and revealing fashion on the planet. Think Lady Gaga’s dress made out of glistening raw meat, Miley Cyrus’ designer boob duct tape and Lil’ Kim baring one boob covered only by a sparkly pastie.Instead, the awards, which happened “live” here in NYC, but were mostly pre-recorded in the days leading up to the show, with many performers shot in-studio on a green screen, featuring seemingly pre-done looks. And so there was Joey King wearing a Versace minidress, which was then superimposed onto a VMA-branded backdrop.
