Ireland's incidence of Covid-19 cases per 100,000 people over the past 14 days is 30.6, according to the latest figures from the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control.
This is down from 31.2 yesterday. Spain continues to top the list at 205.5, with 439,286 confirmed cases of the virus and 29,011 deaths, followed by Malta (94.6), France (88.7), Croatia (87.1) and Romania (84.1).
The Department of Health reported 42 new cases of Covid-19 in Ireland yesterday and no further deaths. This was the lowest number of cases reported on a Sunday since 26 July.
