Hilary Heath, the British actress and producer has died age 74 of coronavirus complications. She was best known for her acting roles in films such as Witchfinder General and Wuthering Heights.

This is a breaking news story and is constantly being updated. Heath was also known to perform on the London stage. Dwyer died last week of complications from Covid-19, according to her godson, Alex Williams, who wrote a statement on Facebook.

After retiring from acting, Heath produced Mike Newell's An Awfully Big Adventure (1995), which starred Hugh Grant and Alan Rickman.

She also produced Nil by Mouth (1997), written and directed by Gary Oldman. Heath was married to talent agent Duncan Heath from 1974 until their 1989 divorce.
