Washington Post (8/27, Lerner) reports, “More than three-quarters of adults age 50 and older want to stay in their homes as they age, according to a 2018 survey by AARP,” and with residents and employees in nursing homes making up “as much as 40 percent of” COVID-19 deaths, “aging in place may be more appealing than ever.” The Post details renovations to homes to accommodate challenges as people age.
