While in lockdown, many of us are dreaming about when we can jet-off on holiday again. But unfortunately for us, it may be months before it’s safe to fly.
According to travel journalist Eoghan Corry, we’ll be lucky if we can book trips for September. As the coronavirus pandemic has wreaked havoc on the industry, it could take longer for everything to get up and running again.
Eoghan told RSPV Live: “I would hope to be back in the air in September, but increasingly it’s looking like the spring of next year before things start really moving again.” While it’s not advisable to book holidays at this time, you shouldn’t cancel trips that you have already paid for.
