Hugh Grant on Tuesday revealed that he had COVID-19 earlier in the year and his experience with the virus was intense. Dropping byThe Late Show with Stephen Colbert, the actor said he was sure he and his wife contracted COVID-19 back inFebruary, and it was recently confirmed when their antibody tests came back positive.

Grant explained how his symptoms gradually worsened until he was in a full panic. "It started as a very strange syndrome where I kept breaking into a terrible sweat; it was like a poncho of sweat, embarrassing really," Grant said from a hotel in the U.K., which is in another lockdown due to a virus spike.
