I’m A Celebrity medic Bob has been axed from the show for the first time in its history because of restrictions on flights put in place because of the coronavirus.

The upcoming season of the show is to be filmed at the 200-year-old Gwrych Castle instead of Australia due to the coronavirus.But the Australian medic is unable to take part this year due to travel restrictions in the UK and Australia.Bob, whose real name is Robert McCarron, has taken part in the show since since 2002 and has been a big hit with viewers.An insider told The Sun: "Medic Bob is one of the pillars of I’m A Celebrity but unfortunately it wasn’t going to be a possibility to have him on board this year."Bob is based in Australia and with the changing restrictions there.
