Idrissa Akuna Elba OBE (born 6 September 1972) is an English actor, writer, producer, musician, and DJ. He is known for roles including Stringer Bell in the HBO series The Wire, DCI John Luther in the BBC One series Luther, and Nelson Mandela in the biographical film Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom (2013). He has been nominated four times for a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor – Miniseries or Television Film, winning one, and was nominated five times for a Primetime Emmy Award.

Idris Elba is finding ways to occupy his time in isolation with his wife, Sabrina Dhowre. The couple are still in quarantine after testing positive for coronavirus, and have been creating TikTok videos while they wait to fly back to the UK from America.
They did their own version of the Bored In The House challenge, which included Sabrina cleaning their house with shoes on her feet and Idris playing guitar in his pants on the sofa.
Sabrina, 29, and Idris, 47, play chess together, before the video cuts to Sabrina sweeping the floor in a dressing gown. Idris then opens up an umbrella outside the front door, Sabrina looks for a snack in the fridge, and then Idris sits in the sink reading a book with cup of tea.
