A 93-year-old grandmother has just one humble wish after beating coronavirus. Evelyn Bilham, from Hull, tested positive for coronavirus after she was taken to hospital over a fall which left her with two fractured legs.

After two weeks on a ward she was moved to a care home, where she was diagnosed with the disease, Hull Live reports. However, she miraculously beat the virus and now all she wants is for her new sofa to be delivered.

Evelyn was shielding at home in March during the first week of lockdown when she got up to make a cup of tea, fell and fractured both of her legs.
