The growth of new coronavirus cases in Ayrshire and Arran has slowed down dramatically in the past few weeks. And that has triggered further discussions about the potential easing of lockdown in Scotland.Patients in hospital with coronavirus have been reduced by almost 75 per cent from 115 people on Sunday, May 3, to 32 on Monday.While confirmed cases have also slowed, two days in the past week have shown increases of only two positive results.And patients in ICU with COVID-19 dipped below five at the weekend.
