James McAvoy has given £275,000 to a campaign helping provide NHS workers with personal protective equipment during the coronavirus outbreak.
The X-Men actor donated the huge sum of money to the Crowdfunder campaign from Masks for NHS Heroes, a doctor-supported initiative which aims to increase the number of CE certified face masks, visors, surgical gowns and gloves available to healthcare workers while caring for coronavirus patients.
