Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho has explained why he breached lockdown regulations with Tanguy Ndombele amid the height of the coronavirus pandemic.
Mourinho was pictured with Spurs midfielder Ndombele on Hadley Common in north London back in April, at a time when Government restrictions banned meetings between two people from different households.
And as Tottenham prepare to resume their Premier League campaign against Mourinho's former side Manchester United on Friday, the manager has claimed the incident was misinterpreted. "I spent two minutes with him, trying to teach him how to use the WiFi GPS - nothing more than that," Mourinho said of Ndombele. "It was nothing.
