Karnataka reports 16 new covid-19 cases, one fatality

A 75-year-old man from Bagalkote, about 480 km from Bengaluru, died due to covid-19, taking the state’s tally of fatalities to four Karnataka saw a spike in the number of covid-19 cases, with 16 people testing positive on Saturday, taking the state’s total to 144.

Out of 129 active cases, 126 covid-19 patients, including a pregnant woman, are in isolation at designated hospitals and are stable.
