The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have had their Christmas cancelled like many families across the country as Tier 4 bursts their bubble of ten.
The royals had originally planned to celebrate Christmas at the Middletons' Grade II listed home in Bucklebury, Berkshire. Kate's parents Mike, 71, and Carole, 65, were looking forward to their first Christmas Day with all four grandchildren, hosting the Cambridges along with Kate's sister Pippa, her husband James and their son Arthur , the Daily Mail reports.
Prince William and Kate had taken Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis to their country home Anmer Hall in Norfolk after the children broke up from school last week.
