Manchester City ace Kevin De Bruyne has risked the wrath of Liverpool fans by calling for the season to be scrapped. Professional football has been suspended until April 30 at the earliest due to the coronavirus crisis.

The Premier League admit they have no idea when the current campaign will resume - or if it will even get finished. If the season goes on to be declared null and void, Liverpool would be denied their first league title in 30 years despite being 25 points clear at the top of the table, with City remaining champions.

City are still in the hunt for the FA Cup and Champions League titles and De Bruyne insists he would like to see the season played to a finish.
