Nigel Farage has been slapped down by police for ignoring lockdown rules and travelling 100 miles to film a rant about immigrants on a beach.
Mr Farage’s spokesman suggested earlier in the week that the ex MEP was a key worker, and the rules didn’t apply to him because he was working as a broadcaster.
But Sussex Police issued a reminder of the rules in response to Mr Farage’s seaside jaunt - stressing the public should not be making non-essential journeys.
The former MEP chose to travel from his Kent home to a Pett Level, a south coast beach, while ordinary Brits are being told to stay at home.
