Children's resilience will help them bounce back from lockdown unharmed, according to an anxiety coach. Parents in Manchester shared their concerns over the impact the pandemic is having on their children.
Psychotherapist Sarie Taylor held an online session on the M.E.N's Manchester Family Facebook page where mums asked how to handle changes they have seen in their children's behaviour.
While some have experienced mood swings and angry outbursts from their children, others said they are struggling to get their kids to open up.
A number of parents said their children have developed tics in lockdown, or are worrying over the long term impact the pandemic will have on their mental health.
