LEWIS Capaldi sends his dad to do the shopping because he's scared of social distancing and getting mobbed by fans. The singer, 23, opened up about feeling anxious of his fans rushing up to him at the shops and not keeping the mandated two metres away to help prevent the spread of coronavirus.
He told The Sun: “I always worry about going to a shop and someone being like, ‘Oh, can we get a picture?’ And I’m like, ‘You have to stay two metres apart!’ “I don’t want to be that guy, so my dad has been getting (the shopping).
I have literally become a hermit.” Lewis has made the best use of his time holed up, though, and already has 11 new songs for a follow-up to his chart-topping debut album Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent.
