covid fine for not wearing a mask quashed.Jonathan O’Hagan claims cops handcuffed him and took him outside as the rammy spiralled out of control.The 28-year-old security guard alleges he was restrained and searched after police officers demanded to know why he was not wearing a face covering.He said he told them he had asthma and was exempt.And when one of the officers demanded his details and threatened to arrest him he said he insisted to them he did not "need to disclose his medical history”.He alleges he was then handcuffed in front of other shoppers and taken outside.While this was happening, his partner rushed home to collect his exemption cards and inhaler to show the officers.A letter seen by Birmingham Live showed his fine was.
