Timo Werner was back to his best form on Sunday as he scored a hat-trick to help RB Leipzig thrash Mainz 5-0 away from home.
The German striker has been strongly linked with a move to Liverpool this summer, and he did his chances of a switch to Anfield no harm on Sunday afternoon with a sensational performance.
It took the 24-year-old just 11 minutes to open the scoring after he converted from Konrad Laimer's fine cutback at the near post.
Further strikes from Yussuf Poulsen and Marcel Sabitzer effectively ended the game as a contest before half-time, and Werner doubled his tally just three minutes into the second period as he slammed home from Kevin Kampl's pass.
