Pamela Cabrera (Photos courtesy: Action News Jax) JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - A Florida mother has been charged with aggravated manslaughter in the death of her 5-year-old daughter during a high-speed chase, officials said.The Fourth District State Attorney’s Office on Thursday filed formal charges against 32-year-old Pamela Cabrera, who Jacksonville police said kidnapped her daughter, Vanity Cabrera, at knifepoint late last month, Action News Jax reports. When a police officer spotted her SUV at a red light, she sped away and led law enforcement on a high-speed chase.According to the news outlet, the chase lasted for about 30 miles, reaching speeds up to 90 miles per hour, before Cabrera crashed her vehicle into a retention pond along Interstate 95.
