Maharashtra: Another district imposes 10-day lockdown as COVID-19 cases rise

PTI. The lockdown will be effective till 28 February. The number of coronavirus cases in the district has been on a rise since 1 February.The district has 606 active cases as of Wednesday.

Almost 80% to 90% of new cases were being reported from Yavatmal, Pandharkawda and Pusad cities. Today we are ordering lockdown in Yavatmal district till 28 February, said district collector MD Singh.Schools, colleges, coaching classes will remain closed.
