Universal Credit, job seeker's allowance and other benefits will increase today, a move that will benefit millions. The government first announced the changes last April, which will affect about 2.5 million people on Universal Credit and millions more on legacy benefits.
The increase will be based on September's inflation figures of 1.7%, reports Mirror Online.
