A 59-year-old man who suffered a rare reaction to the AstraZeneca vaccine died after a blood clot formed on his brain. Neil Astles passed away on April 4 at Royal Liverpool University Hospital after receiving his first dose of the Coronavirus vaccine on March 17, according to the Liverpool Echo.
An inquest was held into the former lawyer's death yesterday at Bootle Town Hall, Liverpool.
