A man has been charged after a teenage dad-of-three died in a motorbike crash while attending a 150-person funeral. The victim, named locally as Aaron Smith, 17, suffered fatal head injuries after being hit by the vehicle in Kent on the morning of Thursday April 16.
The pedestrian was airlifted to hospital in London where he sadly lost his life. It is understood the gathering involved a large number of motorcyclists, with reports of some disruptive and anti-social riding, according to Kent Live.
Cops say they were given "little notice" about the funeral before attending due to "concerns about social distancing" amid the coronavirus outbreak.Now Robert Varrier, 29, from Sittingbourne, was charged on Sunday with causing death by
