A boyfriend strangled and choked his girlfriend and head-butted her in a violent argument during the coronavirus lockdown. Christopher Gordon, 35, admitted assaulting his partner when they clashed over what music to listen to during the lockdown, a court heard.
He also admitted being drunk and disorderly during the rage at the couple’s home in Cleethorpes, Lincolnshire, on March 30. Kate Fairburn, prosecuting, told Grimsby Magistrates' Court that the two had been listening to music in her home and both were drinking cider.
There was an argument about what type of music they were listening to and Gordon became aggressive, reports Grimsby Live. He then stood up and slapped her around the head, the court heard.
