Man tattoos himself every day during lockdown – and is running out of space to ink

A British man is tattooing himself every day during lockdown. Chris Woodhead, from Walthamstow, has added 40 inkings to his body during the coronavirus pandemic.

He takes the time to sketch designs every day between 2pm and 4pm. The Londonder then sits down with a cuppa and hand pokes the illustrations into his skin.

Many of the tatts are apt given the current health crisis. Chris has a tribute to the NHS, as well as the words “when will it end?” on the soles of his feet.

Chris, who has been getting inked since he was 18-years-old, says the process is very therapeutic during this turbulent time.
