Manchester United have reportedly enquired about Real Valladolid centre-back Mohammed Salisu as they look for competition for Victor Lindelof.
The Red Devils have previously been linked with a move for the 21-year-old Ghanaian and it seems they have now stepped up their interest.
According to ESPN, United are desperate to strengthen their defence in the summer after still having ‘concerns’ about Lindelof.
And the report claims that they have made contact with Valladolid about the prospect of signing Salisu. The player is seen as a hugely attractive option due to having a £10.45million release clause in his contract.
