Former Manchester United star Gary Neville has donated a significant amount of money towards helping Brighouse Town. The FA recently confirmed that all Non-League football from steps 3 to 7 would be declared null and void with immediate effect due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Brig’s last match in the BetVictor Northern Premier League was back in March and they, like a host of other clubs in England at the minute, are suffering financially as a result.
But Neville’s donation will help the club to cover for the loss of income they are currently experiencing, with their clubhouse also shut due to the social distancing measures in place by the government.
