Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford has partnered with charity FareShare to help bring free meals to vulnerable children while they can not access school meals.
As of Friday schools across the United Kingdom will be closed to most children for the foreseeable future as the country continues its fight against the coronavirus outbreak.
While children of ‘key workers’ will still be able to attend, schools will be closed for the vast majority of students, which has left children who rely on free school meals facing the prospect of going hungry.
With football in England suspended until at least April 30, Rashford has taken the opportunity to try and make a difference and make sure vulnerable children still get fed.
