Manchester United fans have hailed Marcus Rashford’s decision to help out the local community. The Red Devils superstar has joined forces with a food redistribution charity - FareShare - to ensure children who rely on free school meals do not miss out when school’s shut on Friday afternoon.

Boris Johnson announced earlier this week that the majority of schools will be closing their doors across the country to combat the ongoing coronavirus crisis.

Over 1m schoolchildren currently qualify for free school meals and Rashford has stepped into ensure they don’t go hungry. "Guys, across the UK there are over 32,000 schools.
