PHILADELPHIA - Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney has implemented a mandatory city-wide curfew that went into effect at 8 p.m.
Saturday night and will continue on Sunday evening. The curfew will expire at 6 a.m. Sunday morning and resume just before sunset at 8 p.m.

until 6 a.m. The curfew means only persons with essential duties will be permitted outdoors. Kenney mandated the curfew on Saturday after hours of violent protests at City Hall and on the surrounding streets.
