First Minster Mark Drakeford says he is considering implementing a two-week circuit breaker lockdown across Wales. Mr Drakeford also demanded urgent talks with the Prime Minister after it emerged No 10 dismissed recommendations for the measure from SAGE scientists three weeks ago.
Speaking to John Pienaar on Times Radio, Mr Drakeford said his party would consider the measures in Wales. He said: "We're very actively thinking here in Wales as to whether or not we should deploy such a short, sharp intervention that would help us to give us a better chance later in the winter to deal with the rise of a virus here in Wales. "There are some very practical things that we've all got to think about.
