Weddings are supposed to be a time of celebration, happiness and new beginnings for couples embarking on a future together. But for hundreds of couples, all the months, or possibly even years of planning that perfect, special day have been quashed by coronavirus.
Part of the UK-wide social distancing strategy to stop the spread of Covid-19 has been to suspend large scale events and gatherings, which means both civil and religious ceremonies have been cancelled across the country.
Many couples have reportedly been told they will still have to cover the costs of their wedding - despite the event not taking place.
