The financial whizz spoke on his weekly Martin Lewis Money on ITV this week to urge people to contact their car insurance providers.

He said: “We heard just today insurance payment holidays are due to start on Monday. “I thought this was going to happen last Wednesday, they delayed it because there has been some minor changes here. “The first thing they will do is review your cover to see if they can cut the cost. “Say, for example, you don’t drive as many miles because you’re at home now.” If this is not suitable, payment holidays will also be available
