Mary-Kate Olsen has finally been able to file for divorce from Olivier Sarkozy after the courts in New York reopened. The couple split in April, but their plans to divorce were put on hold because of the coronavirus outbreak.
Former child star Mary-Kate, 33, tried to obtain an emergency order to proceed with the divorce despite New York's courts being closed, but her request was denied.
However, the Big Apple's legal system got up and running again today and Mary-Kate was finally able to filed paperwork to end her marriage.
Filings are being accepted electronically, and New York Post gossip column Page Six reports Mary-Kate lodged hers with Manhattan Supreme Court fist thing Monday morning.
